Punam Panta is a seasoned Registered Migration Agent and Senior Project Manager with over 25 years of professional experience and residency across multiple Australian states. She has held leadership roles at global tech firms like Cisco and Intuit Technologies, spearheaded large-scale network and business transformation projects across government, education, health, finance, and telecommunications.
Before entering migration services, Punam built her career as Senior IT Network Engineer, Solution Architect, and Client Program Manager, leading cross-functional teams and delivering solutions for Tier 1 clients. Alongside her corporate work, she has been an active advocate and leader within Australia’s multicultural and community sectors. She has worn many hats – mentor, advisor, organizer, and advocate - working with numerous community organizations to support migrant settlement, women’s empowerment, education, and cultural integration. Her combined corporate and grassroots experience gives her a deep, empathetic understanding of the migration journey.
Academically, she holds a Bachelor’s (Honours) in Telecommunications from London and a Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law from Victoria University, having passed the Migration Agents Capstone Assessment conducted by the Legal Training Australia. She is fully registered with OMARA.
Today, as the Principal Migration Agent at InTact Migration Services, Punam leads with integrity, empathy, and insight. Fluent in English, Nepali, Hindi, and Urdu, she provides tailored migration solutions and unwavering support to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate complex immigration pathways with confidence.
